See, I made it!
Knitted from acrylic but pretty nice yarn, with 5mm needles, exactly according to the instructions (and of course without gauge swatching - it ended up bigger than the original).
I also knitted the side in a lighter colour, and added some basic cabling.
It's been raining the whole day today! I woke up listening to rain, and have been looking at it really the complete day; there's been no pause whatsoever.
Luckily our backyard jungle seems to enjoy it.
I've also been working on my ankle socks, comfortably indoors.

Finally a clowdy evening to blog, it's been too beautiful to sit next to the computer.
Sunday was a Hot Day. Brilliant, beautiful sunny day. That calls out for relaxing in the Pheonix Park, knitting the second Ankle Sock, hiding in the tall grass and cuddling the lovely Nic *not published by the wish of the photoshoot object*
Of course I burned myself in the process. Anyhow, that didn't matter too much, because once we got home we started preparing a barbeque; a a few friends were coming over and we tried out best to make the table respectable. I think we succeeded
Nic and me went for a long weekend to rural South Germany, and boy was that relaxing! The weather was very nice for the first two days, so I just sat on the porch, sunbathing and knitting. Here's what I accomplished.
