And it's gorgeous! See how much of everything, and my spoiler Else had really thought of me when choosing presents. This is like christmas! Even Nic came over and see what was in the packet.
Otin osaa kahvi-vaihtoon, ts swappiin, jossa järjestäjät 'parittavat' kaksi neulojaa, ja he lähettävät toisilleen lahjan. Tässä aiheena oli kahvi. Katso kuvat alta: aivan ihania lahjoja!
I can not believe these socks are finally ready! I despised, hated them in the beginning, but after I had turned the heel on the first one (after some months of hibernating and knitting one row per week), I started taking to them. After the first one was done, beautiful and fitting better than any sock before, I quickly did the second one (took maybe only a month...)
Monen kuukauden aherruksen jälkeen Jaywalkerit ovat viimein valmiit! Ja ihanat!
Thought I'd show you all the tunisian crochet pot holder I did for my Coffeeswap 3 partner Else. Shh, she doesn't know it yet eg she hasn't received the packet yet - I sent it on Friday.
Tunisialaista virkkausta:
It left in this packet. I am very excited on whether she will like it! I tried to find quality stuff to put in, so I hope that is ok, but I am afraid, was it enough... I got to the 'swap sum' and above, but... We'll see, it is my first time.
We had a lovely week in Torrevieja, South-East Spain in the beginning of the month. No hectic, no fixed plan to see this and that monument - very different to what we usually do, but oh so relaxing! Torrevieja is perfect for that, as there isn't much to do other than enjoy the wonderful weather and sunbathe.
Worsted Knitt proudly presents - Finished Objects! Quite often I tend to have a million things on the needles at once, and then finish them all at once.
Viimein jokusia valmistuneita töitä:
Here's the French Market Bag from Knitty, done with Cortina yarn and 10 mm needles.
Huomio! Jos kuulut perheeseeni, älä katso näitä kuvia Flickristä, tai saatat pilata jouluyllätyksesi!
The next finished objects must be hidden behind Flickr link, as they are for christmas presents, and I don't want the potential receivers seeing them! So if you know you're not a member of my family, you are allowed ro enter here.
As previously posted, I joined Coffeeswap 3. Mistake: then I went for holidays. I come back, and it's all on the way already! I hope I'm not too late with my questions answered:
1. Whole bean or ground?
Ground, for now.
2. Fully-loaded or decaf?
The real stuff!
3. Regular or flavored?
Both!
4. How do you drink your coffee?
Black, black, black.
5. Favorite coffee ever?
In Wanha Vanilja coffee house in Tampere, Finland, they have the best ever vanilla coffee. That's the best stuff I've had since.
6. Are you fussy about your coffee or will any old bean do?
Not fussy at all!
7. Favorite treats to have with your coffee?
Animals across the world are being held captive, killed, tortured, used for human pleasure, denying them all chance of living like an animal, but rather forced to live as humans decide. Caged, locked to place, travelling...
Please, if you have not yet done so, sign the Animals Matter petition. The petition is for a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare, which is an agreement among people and nations that animals are sentient and can suffer, to respect their welfare needs and to end animal cruelty for good.
Animals, as humans, deserve a right to live in freedom.
I have joined the Coffee Swap nr 3. It must be something I will really enjoy, as I love coffee and knitting too of course.
The pairs will be assigned on the 17th, so I have good time to plan and prepare in case I get an international partner (mainly US) because to reach the deadline of the 17th of November I will need to send the packet right away.
I already have a few ideas..!
