I took part in the Ravelry Finnish knitters -swap (or am still taking part, as my package has not yet been sent) and received a gorgeous packet from Norway, from Nunt.

I got the book I've been wishing for, some Kool Aid (also a long-time wish of mine!), a gorgeous pattern for cabled fingerless mitts and the yarn to go with it. I was really happy to receive the gift and thanked Nunt at Ravelry.

She then told me there should have been a skein of banana silk and chockolate in the packet too! I inspected the bag, and indeed at the bottom it had been slit open and then closed with tape! I wonder if it was the Norwegian post or the German customs who had the need for some yarn and sweets... Well I sure hope they enjoy their catch... not!

However, Nut was so great and actually sent me another small gift to compensate for the banana yarn - a beautiful and good-smelling organic soap, and chocolate! Sorry no photo, as Nick went to Ireland for a few days and took the camera. Anyhow, thanks Nunt! This was a great swap from my side - and I'll post my packet to my partner on Monday!
