I was looking trough my knitting box, and other places where I keep my knitting, and found some projects that have been "sleeping" for some while. And some projects I am working on this moment. More photos you'll find in Flickr.

This week has been crap. Really stressful sometimes, sometimes very boring. Haven't really been keen on knitting - well I haven't actually been interested in anything this week. I hope for better times with more motivation and strength. I did buy a Spanish self-learn course today, so I'm sure that'll get me out of this slump. And! I'm going on a short holiday in 2 weeks. Can hardly wait.
Some sock joy to share anyway: I finished the second child's sock for my cousin's son. I just need to block them now.
I finished my ankle socks (again...) and this time they're both knitted in similar gauge. I think they came out quite nice:
There's a photo of the very pretty heel in Summer of Socks Flicr site - I know I started these before the SOS started, but since I'm not counting them in to the most socks knitted (well, I'm not taking part!) I thinks it's ok.
Nic and me went for a long weekend to rural South Germany, and boy was that relaxing! The weather was very nice for the first two days, so I just sat on the porch, sunbathing and knitting. Here's what I accomplished.
I made it, my first real pair of socks is ready and in use. The new owner seems happy enough to have recieved them (well, he saw me working on them hard), but to be honest they are not the best-made socks I've seen.
I chose the wrong cast-on, made the heelpflap bit weird, and picked up way too many sticthes - and decrased far too slowly to fix that mistake. Did I mention I had too big needles? Or well, maybe not, the airy effect is nice, but the new sockowner is concerned they'll break right away. They might, who knows.
