This is my newest cast-on project; a red scarf knitted to honor women who've died from heart disease.

Today it looked so bad outside!

So I thought it's better to stay inside and bake a peach pie.

As foreigners we're not allowed to vote, but still need to look at the 'Vote No. 1' pollution every day going to work, coming home, going to the store, in our mailbox... Don't you think that the old saying might have some truth in it: 'Less is More'? election Worsted Knitt now has its own campaign:

The garden's starting to look really nice - I'm thinking that we'll get fresh salad and spinach in a weeks time, if the weather holds warm and the snails stay away.

On Saturday, the long awaited knitting group gathered again.  I don't have the transport to the other meetings around the city during the week, so I'm always very much looking forward to this one.

It was lovely, and despite the bank holiday very popular. We were hiding at the Dublin Castle green area again (the cafe was closed)
