Tote bags get a new look with funky patches

Funky tote bags

Today I will show you three tote bags which I upgraded by sewing some patches on them!

I have two patches that have been with me for years and years, which I now finally sew onto tote bags! Take a look at these funky beauties!

The purple one is pretty clear, as it is in English. You wouldn't believe from which clothing piece that little cat patch was salvaged from though! Ask me if you're interested :) The tote bag is one I tie-dyed myself years and years ago, back when we lived in Ireland.

New direction for Worsted Knitt

So, as you must have noticed, my knitting mojo which kind of faded away some years ago never really returned. I haven't been blogging weekly, not even monthly, and hardly ever about my knits.

I am still here though, and I am doing interesting things, so I've decided to let go of the knitting-only idea of my blog worsted-knitt.net, and make it more of a personal blog; a place where I can talk more about things that matter to me today in this time and place of my life - things like

Four bright socks

Sunset socks
Lagoon socks

This is the promised finished knits post!

A while back I finished two pairs of very bright socks which I call the Sunset socks and the Lagoon socks. Here they are!

The Sunset socks are made with Opal Surprise! yarn (sadly discontinued) from my stash, the Lagoon socks are made with a funky yarn I received in a swap years ago! It was actually machine knit into a short scarf. The idea was that you could use it as a scarf or unravel it to get 100g of sock yarn. The scarf wasn't my style really so I of course frogged it.

Signs of life

Bremen
Amsterdam

Hi my dear readers (if there are any of you left?) - it's me, your absent Worsted Knitt.

As you may know, my knitting passion burned down somewhat a year or two ago, and it hasn't really been rekindled to the extent it used to be. I am still hoping it will, but I'm not forcing it. I am enjoying sewing, theatre, gardening and other hobbies, and working on some knits whenever I feel like it. I promise, the next post will be about finished knits!

101 in 1001 vol 3

Go to nature weekly

I started my third 101 in 1001 challenge and realized I didn't share it at all. The previous ones I have shared 99% completely (see them here: first, second), but this new one is really personal, so I'll just share a few samples. The last one went really bad, but I feel this time around I have some really interesting goals on the list and am really looking forward to achieving them all!
