I was going through my year last weekend, and decided it would be nice to pull together my knitting highlights and the steps I've taken to build my site! So here it is: the best of Worsted Knitt in 2010!

January
I started the year by publishing a free sock pattern, namely the Ripple Moss Socks. They're now at 10 projects on Ravelry!
I also finished the beautiful Owls sweater, which hasn't been getting much use, though.

February
The highlight in February was finishing a shawl in two weeks - Tulppaani for Ravelympics. I also started selling stitch markers "for real" on Worsted-Knitt.net.

March
In March I published my first-ever pay pattern the Kuebel Hat! It hasn't really been a success, but I am planning on bringing out an updated version of the pattern soon. A success in March was the Eccentric Sweater, which ended up brilliant! I also created an About page for Worsted-Knitt.net

April
I went to Japan!

May
The pattern for Anemone Nemorosa sachets was published.

June
In June I participated in the KYH KAL, and ended up finished 28 items by end of July (including two shawls!). I also kept knitting for charity.

July
In July I didn't knit much, as it was so hot and I spent my holiday swimming instead, but I did finish these two shawls: Clothilde and Twilight Gloaming.

August
The knit highlights for August were definitely the bright shrug and my repurposed sweater -bag.

September
This fall I hosted a little fundraiser to protect girls in Mali from genital mutilation. It didn't bring in too much, but every little helps, doesn't it!
I also ripped an old sweater of mine and made a baby bag with the ripped yarn!

October
In October I posted very little, but every post was important! I continued on the reusing path and used ripped-up yarn to knit scarves for charity.
The new Designer of the Month feature was presented at Worsted-Knitt.net starting with Katie Ferry!
Plus, one more free pattern was added to my resources available from Worsted-Knitt.net, namely the Chubby Cat Hat, which is already at 8 projects on Ravelry!

November
This month I put up my first hand-dyed yarn for sale online (it's still available!)

December
The year was ended with a few nice things: Worsted Knitt now has a page on Facebook, plus yet a new feature was added to the Worsted-Knitt.net repertoire: the Worsted Knitt's Pattern Show!

There are a few things I really like when looking back to 2010: a lot of charity knitting; lot of using recycled yarns; several new patterns published; development of the site - and lots of knits I liked making!

I'll be posting about my plans for 2011 regarding knits as well as the site soon - is there anything you'd like to see me blog about especially in 2011? Please leave a comment (even if you don't have a suggestion, just to say hi :D)!
